Who loves garlic? We do, for one. The entire plant is edible, it stores well and a little goes a long way! For over 20 years, we have been farming organically grown garlic in many fun and exciting heirloom varieties. The differences are staggering among our varieties. Some have soft and delicate garlic flavor and other varieties exhibit a much more robust and spicy flavor.
.
Every fall we plant over 8000 cloves of garlic. There are many ways to plant garlic. We plant in beds which makes mulching more efficient. Then, if mother nature has been kind, we begin harvesting in July. After about three weeks of curing, we are off to market!
