Store garlic in a cool, dark, dry place that is preferably below 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Never place in plastic bags. Keep in mind when you start breaking the bulb into cloves, that will shorten its storage time. We recommend avoiding refrigeration unless you will be freezing the garlic. Get to know your garlic – many softneck varieties will store for longer periods!
